We are so excited for the Fall Season to arrive!! We will be raking up leaves, splashing in rain puddles, baking muffins, and painting pumpkins, There is so much that nature has to teach us about the wondeful Fall Season!! We can't wait to break out our books to learn more about this beautiful time of year!
Halloween is on a Monday night this year!!! See our Resources page for places to visit in October!
OTHER UPCOMING HOLIDAYS:
THANKSGIVING - we will be closed Thanksgiving and the following day (11/24-11/25). Tuition is due for the full week.
VACATION - We will be closed during the week of December 19th. This is a non-paid vacation so no tuition is due that week
CHRISTMAS - Christmas day falls on a Sunday this year so we will be closed on Monday 12/26. We will reopen on Tuesday 12/27. Tuition is due for the full week.
NEW YEARS - New Years Eve and New Years Day fall on a weekend this year. We will not be taking any additional days off.
Things to Check Out
ASSESSMENT TIME!!!
We are currently in the process of assessing our little learners!
Our preschoolers are being evaluated on basic early learning skills such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes.
Other areas of assessment (for even our youngest kiddos) include fine and gross motor skills, language development, socialization, following directions, and self-help skills such as eating independently and toilet training.
In the coming weeks, we will provide parents with a checklist indicating where your child's development is in each of the assessed areas, and what skills to look for next in their development.
Throughout the year, we will continue to re-evaluate these skills and provide updates on your child’s skills.
